The edition begins with an account of a trip to Africa by a Wooster student. One article reports the third place win of Wooster student J.W. Reeves, at the Ohio Oratorical Contest of the Intercollegiate Peace Association. There is a recap of a debate between Oberlin and Wooster, in which it was decided Wooster won.
