Abstract

“Living in Quantum Physics: A Collection of Short Stories That Have Nothing to do With Math” is an experiment in narrative structure that attempts to rectify the archetypal telling of transgender experiences in media and fiction. It is a collection of stories that explore the lives of trans characters outside of common tropes like the trans victim, trans villain, and the transition story arch to provide fiction that can be enjoyed by trans communities and cis communities.
