Description
Handwritten note from Davis to T.E. discussing photos that were sent to him by "mommie". Davis looks forward to seeing T.E. when he gets back and thanks him for the photos.
Transcription:
Dearest TE; Sept. 4-44
Lately your mommie (who is a grand friend of mine) sent me a letter and since then I feel I know you much better, for they are sweet pictures of you, + each one in a good setting- you sitting mommie, auntie, grandmother + grandfather. What’s more they all seemed of you, in which I don’t blame them.
I’ve heard an awful lot about you for the last two months, so I’m looking forward to seeing you when I get back. Tell your mommie thanks for the photos.
