Computer Science coursework at Wooster combines elements of mathematics, philosophy, languages and the natural sciences, with the intent of providing students with problem solving, abstract thinking and independent learning skills.

Recent IS topics include computer modeling of influenza in a college population, object recognition and human-computer interaction, and an examination of the Linux source code through data mining.

The Computer Science department is located in Taylor Hall.
